Worship Sermon Series: The Book of James

Sunday Messages: The Book of James

Our Sunday sermons are currently from the book of James. Often called the “Proverbs of the New Testament,” James deals head-on with some of life’s most challenging issues. Frequently, he supports his instruction with vivid pictures. The theme is counting joy when we have trials of various kinds. James commands us to look to and lean upon the Lord amid multiple trials. The Lord will use these things to work endurance into our lives, preparing us to serve Him!

James deals with:

  • Confusing matters in life
  • Changing in financial fortunes
  • Enticing and luring temptations
  • Hearing and Listening to God’s Word
  • Living in a community together
  • Speech and communication
  • Conflicts and fights
  • Life-threatening sicknesses
  • And many more

In all these, the Lord works in our lives so that we might serve Him faithfully and be a powerful witness to His greatness and goodness.
